Price, trial and cancelling

Price: $249/month per 60-mile territory, per trade. Founding price $149/month, locked for 12 months, for the first 20 firms.
Territory: one shop, one trade and one straight-line radius of 25, 60 or 100 miles. Every radius is the same price.
Trial: 14 days free. No card needed to start.
When the trial ends: export locks and your data stays readable. Nothing is deleted.
Billing: billing is not open yet, so nothing is charged. When it opens, plans are billed monthly in US dollars through Stripe, by Helios One Oy (business ID 3596623-5).
Cancelling: there is nothing to cancel yet. Once billing opens, cancel any time from Billing in the app; your plan runs to the end of the month you paid for.
Receipts: when billing opens, Stripe, our payment processor, will email a receipt for every payment.

Founding prices stay as stated for their locked period. When a plan ends, export locks the same way and your data stays readable.

If we ever close StandbyBrief, we will email account holders at least 30 days before, and refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.

The service

StandbyBrief turns public CMS nursing-home inspection files into lists of homes near you that CMS's file shows as cited under the generator, sprinkler or fire alarm rules. Every row links to the government record.

The data

The records are published by CMS for public use, and we credit CMS as the source.
Territories are not exclusive. The records are public, so a competitor can get the same list.
We check every fact we show against CMS's file, but CMS's data can be incomplete and runs 1–3 months behind inspections. A citation is a fact about an inspection, not about whether the equipment runs today. Check the linked record before you rely on a row.
The service is provided "as is".

How you may use it

Use the lists to offer your own services to the homes on them.
Follow the laws that apply to how you contact businesses, including email and phone rules.
Don't resell or republish the lists as a data product, and don't describe a citation as more than CMS's record shows.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland.
